Checking in (Monday 22 May 2023)

Hello hello. Apologies for the silence, I ran out of data during the week when I uploaded Counting Electric Sheep. I didn't have much at the time anyway (20gigabytes) but I tried to make the most of it while I had it. Got 4gig yesterday, just enough to let me check emails and catch up a bit and to pop in here to let you know what's going on. Please hang until I am back online proper. Enjoy your week, thank you and take care. In the works... Counting Electric Sheep Sessions IX (CES28 White Death, Black Strawberry & the Anime Soul)

Welcome to Counting Electric Sheep #28! It has been a really busy few months since #27 came out (I can't believe that was out in November!), very eventful after we had to move to another place early that same month last year. Sorry for the long wait. Only one Sessions set remains now before the next series kicks off, that's the minor bad news, but the major good news is that the next series will be more interactive and I think fans of CES will really dig it :) I've talked about it before, my hope is for the series to be request driven. For more details about the next series please check out the blog post that I've published https://mrtkallen.blogspot.com/2023/05/counting-electric-sheep-requests-thread.html and get involved. As for this set, it is a showcase of songs from the first soundtrack for the Bleach anime. It was composed by Shiro Sagisu and released on 18 May 2005, featuring songs from Seasons 1 to 3. If there's one thing that can be said about the Bleach a

Counting Electric Sheep Requests Thread

With the Sessions series of Counting Electric Sheep sets coming to an end (as a reminder, Sessions  started with set #20), it's time to prepare for the next series. This series begins with the 30th set and will be centred around requests for anime theme songs from fans of CES (yes, I'm talking about YOU 😁). It's a chance for people to get involved and help to determine which themes will be featured in each set of this series, and hey, if there's plenty of interest and plenty of input then maybe this format will become the regular format for CES. So how should you make your request? There are two ways: 1) Tell me the name of the artist(s), the title of the song and the anime where the song was featured. or 2) If you don't know the names of artist(s) or the title of the song then just tell me the name of the anime and indicate if the song was an opening theme or ending theme. I'll take care of the rest. When you send in your request please include an "anim

Tintin's Audio Adventure Series Episode 3 Tintin in America

Here it is at long last, welcome to the 3rd episode of Tintin's Audio Adventure Series! As explained in the recording, this should have been the comic audio release for November 2022 but real life took over and we got one heck of a curveball thrown at us. Still recovering from that but at least this episode is finally out for you to check out, enjoy and share. Quite a big book with plenty of links in the Show Notes so take your time. I ended up splitting the recording into two parts because I was worried the uploading would be a hassle. Will see what to do with the video version, I'm planning to work on that later today (Friday). It's safe to say that from this book onwards we are headed for some amazing work from Hergé as he gets better and better in terms of storytelling and researching, I hope you are looking forward to those. Cheers, thank you and take care. Title: Tintin in America Written by: Hergé Illustrated by: Hergé Publication: Serialised in Le Petit Vingtième  (
