Hey, how have you been? Good I hope, because it has not been super fun over here since my last post. We've been experiencing back to back extended "loadshedding" power cuts for a few weeks now, that's why I have not posted anything since the WWE 2K16 Universe Mode episodes . Usually it's either you get the power cuts that happen from morning to some time in the afternoon or the power cuts that happen from the afternoon to some time at night, but with these extended cuts it's been from around 6am to around 9pm almost daily. Today was a day for the morning power cut, which was a bit of a surprise because when power goes in the morning you just expect it to be yet another long day of no power. What sucks also is that there isn't a proper schedule that people can follow so they can plan around these power cuts (in the past there would be scheduled published in the newspapers). How's it going? I hope you've been keeping well. There's some more good news that I've got to share with you this time which is related to content that I've wanted to share but haven't been able to because of long-running internet troubles. As of a couple of weeks ago we've got some decent internet at home and my hope is that this will allow me to flex even a little bit when it comes to putting out content, whether it's the current content like the walkthroughs or the audio series or the type of content that I am about to talk about.  Let's start from the beginning. Hello hello, how's it going? I have some good news to share with you, something which I hope will be a nice way to end the week. Behold... It took a while but here we are with the internet upgrade that I had been hoping for. That's the router in the photo above, sitting on one of our old TVs in the dining room. Bought from one of the local mobile networks for $200 USD and monthly we'll be paying $45 for a 5mbps semi-unlimited data package (the actual data cap 1TB but nobody here will be live-streaming or online all day everyday so I doubt we'll reach that cap...unless of course someone decides to save all their super downloading for the days just before the subscription ends. Hello hello. I hope you've been keeping well, it has been a very long minute eh? Apologies for the silence and lack of activity as far as posting here on the site and putting out content goes, I have been super busy with work since March. For those of you who don't know or are new to the site, I work with my brother and my dad in a manufacturing business. Usually I would get some free time for my content creator work but because we've been supplying our products directly to customers for a while now, I have not had much of a chance to pick up where I left off in the prepping of the next audio episode ( Asterix ). That would need my full attention for reading the comic, making notes, putting together links for the episode notes, recording, editing and uploading the episode. It is Saturday morning as I am typing this and I am happy to let you know that power was restored here yesterday afternoon! Phew I was getting worried that we would be going to another weekend without electricity and had to wait until next week for the crew from the power company to show up and do their work. But we can't celebrate for too long because like I said in the previous post, sooner or later other cables will be stolen and once again the residents will have to pay for new ones and the cycle goes on. If residents were more organised and willing to set up a proper neighbourhood watch team, there might not be any more cable thefts or burglaries for that matter (because with a lot of residents having solar panels, they become potential targets for thieves), but from what I've heard from the old man so far there's not much organisation among residents. Hello hello. Apologies for the silence and no follow-up post after House of Sounds 34, I have been offline because of (you might have guessed it) power issues. Our fantastic*, amazing*, gold standard level* (citation needed for what has an astetisk) national power company introduced another round of loadshedding recently. It went into effect in our area last Wednesday, power goes around 10am and returns just before 6pm from what I noticed on the day up to Friday. Then as if that wasn't lousy enough, on Saturday morning we woke up to find no power. Naturally I thought "Oh, a super early power cut. Could mean power will be back around lunchtime, okay." But lunchtime came and went, no power. 6pm came and went, no power. Sunday morning rolled in and still nothing. What's the deal? We would find out later in the day that cables had been stolen early Saturday morning. The last time cable theft happened here was around this time LAST YEAR. Things became slightly better ever ...

I've been dealing with a nasty little cough since the previous week, so I'm holding off on recording anything that involves my voice until I'm back to 100%.   It took a bit but here it is, the final set in the Sessions series (for now?). The focus for this one is the first original soundtrack for the Fairy Tail anime. It was composed by Yasuharu Takanashi and released on the 6th of June 2010. Even after all these years the soundtrack still holds up, with plenty of songs that made you get hyped for many of the awesome battles that were in the anime.  A big thank you to everyone who has been following Counting Electric Sheep, not just from CES 20 when Sessions began but from the first set. First release of the new year! Happy 2024 to you, I hope January hasn't been too harsh on you :)  I'll give the live-action series a 3 out of 5. It's not the greatest live-action adaptation ever made but it's a decent watch which won't leave you asking why you wasted your time watching it (like some other notorious adaptations...I'm still looking at you Dragon Ball E and Knights of the Zodiac). Great work as far as costumes, set designs, Easter eggs, references and the actors bringing the key characters to life. However, the series just leaves out a lot of the source material's charm because of the changes which were made, even though Oda was involved as an Executive Producer. So I have an idea that couldn't wait and I figured I might as well share it with you now and find out what you think of it. Next year I am considering the addition of bonus episodes in which we take a look at the first volume of different manga titles, whether they are currently ongoing or completed or even those titles that were cancelled either prematurely or later on in their run. For the time being, the two manga titles that we are covering are Hunter x Hunter and One Piece and it's clear that we won't get through them anytime soon. But thanks to the bonus episodes we can check out other titles too without compromising our main two. So for example, after the episodes covering a volume of Hunter x Hunter and One Piece , the next release would be a bonus episode. Let me know in the comments below what you think of this idea. It's been a long minute hasn't it? I hope you've been keeping well. Would you believe me if I told you that I got back online two Mondays ago? Yup, but I've been away between then and now because there was an electrical fault which we were experiencing from that week up until this past Saturday when a crew from the power company FINALLY stopped by to fix it. I say FINALLY because the report about the fault was made on the Thursday of the week when I came back, I kid you not. Day in and day out, we kept going to the power company to report and nothing would happen, despite some assurances. None of the appliances could be turned on, none of the devices could be charged, it was a lousy time. I was starting to think we would have to wait until the holiday weekend was over before we could get any help, but we got really lucky at long last :) phew. Well, here we are on the last bits of that 15gig data bundle that was bought a couple of weeks ago :) but fortunately some work was done while that bundle was active so it ain't all too bad.  The MultiMangaverse Episode 13 One Piece Volume 6 Audio and both parts of the video are now available . The delay of Part 2 was because I didn't have the program which I was using to compress video files on the old computer. I got it over the weekend and managed to compress the video edit from over 800mb to just over 100mb, with decent quality maintained. The program which I had used last week had reduced the edit to almost 400mb and that file took too long to upload to BitChute on Friday (over an hour and the most progress that had been made was 21%), so I stopped the process.  I realised after the recording that there are a couple of SBS  segments which I had forgotten to talk about.
