Checking In (Saturday 16 March 2024)

It is Saturday morning as I am typing this and I am happy to let you know that power was restored here yesterday afternoon! Phew I was getting worried that we would be going to another weekend without electricity and had to wait until next week for the crew from the power company to show up and do their work. But we can't celebrate for too long because like I said in the previous post, sooner or later other cables will be stolen and once again the residents will have to pay for new ones and the cycle goes on. If residents were more organised and willing to set up a proper neighbourhood watch team, there might not be any more cable thefts or burglaries for that matter (because with a lot of residents having solar panels, they become potential targets for thieves), but from what I've heard from the old man so far there's not much organisation among residents. So for the time being, we are okay and just have to worry about loadshedding because I am sure that hasn't gone away :) sigh

Work behind the scenes will resume next week, preparation for Asterix episode 4 and chapter 10 of Journey of Janice especially, plus the Pokemon Saiph 2 walkthrough which I believe is nearing the end of the main-game portion now, so stay tuned for that. Happy a good weekend.

Checking In (Monday 9 October 2023)

It's been a busy couple of weeks here, so I hope you can excuse the silence. Plus we didn't have any data until this past weekend. Managed to buy 15GB, if used properly I think that can cover us for at the next least 2 weeks. Let's see how that goes, eh? Despite things getting busy, I hope to make the most of the pockets of free time that I get.  Walkthrough Update for Pokemon Liquid Crystal It is FINALLY done. Took longer than it should have because the original walkthrough had a number of errors and the game itself has its own list of issues so I had to contact the creator. There are a few questions that I've sent to him concerning some events and I am still waiting to hear back from him. In the meantime... Walkthrough Update for Pokemon Azure Horizons Hacksrepairman  released another fix for the game in March of this year but I was busy with other walkthroughs at the time.
