Checking In (Tuesday 3 November 2026)

How's your Tuesday going?

Last week was the final week for October and I would've taken the end-of-the-month break then, but since it was a busy week for Weekend Bonus Stage I shifted that break to this week. Outside of any sudden change of plans, you can look forward to Weekend Bonus Stage this weekend and the DJ sets and Gaming History Ext. returning next week.

If you've checked out Saturday's edition of WBS for the new audiobook that will be showcased for a short while then Thank You. It is Audible's full-cast 2026 adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, with all the bells and whistles plus some solid voice work. The gameplay footage will still be from Pokémon Adventure Red Chapter until I finish updating the walkthrough. If it was game that I'm just playing for fun then this would've been time to jump into a new game along side the new audiobook. There are just four chapters remaining of All the Presidents' Bankers, so that's four remaining episodes featuring Pokémon Team Rocket Edition. While there's still plenty of time, you can recommend the next Pokémon ROM hack for Sunday's edition of WBS.

October got just as busy as September did, that's why there were no DJ sets except for that one Saturday release at the start of the month. I can admit, I have been struggling quite a bit to make use of whatever free time that I get to balance the DJ sets with WBS and GH as well as the Pokémon Adventure Red Chapter written walkthrough...and that's before I can try to add more spinning plates to the display (maintaining the Kofi Shop; resuming the other DJ set series, the comic/manga audio series, Journey of Janice or writing other stories). The last thing I want to do is shelve some series and turn into a content creator who just puts out one type of content e.g. just being a gaming content creator or just being a music content creator, etc. That would get old and boring real fast because I'm not just a fan of video games or just a fan of music or just a fan of one thing. A decade ago I was teamed up with Murfs to put out wrestling-related content and fast-forward to now, I'm glad I didn't continue down that path because my relationship with wrestling isn't as strong now as it was back then and would've given up trying to keep up with the state of wrestling today. So I ask that those of you who started following me thanks to series which I haven't been doing for a long while now to please hang on. I'll get them up and running again eventually, I just have to improve my free time management.

All the best to you for the new month. Take care.

Hello hello, how's it going? I have some good news to share with you, something which I hope will be a nice way to end the week. Behold... It took a while but here we are with the internet upgrade that I had been hoping for. That's the router in the photo above, sitting on one of our old TVs in the dining room. Bought from one of the local mobile networks for $200 USD and monthly we'll be paying $45 for a 5mbps semi-unlimited data package (the actual data cap 1TB but nobody here will be live-streaming or online all day everyday so I doubt we'll reach that cap...unless of course someone decides to save all their super downloading for the days just before the subscription ends. Hmm...). For any of you reading this and shaking your head at the price and the speeds for that price, I totally understand because I know it's a rip off but that's the best package being offered currently outside of what Elon Musk's Starlink is apparently asking for (lowest price is ab...
