Checking In (Monday 11 September 2023)
Hello hello, how are you doing? Here's hoping that you've been keeping well. If last week's happenings are any indication then it looks like "load-shedding" power cuts are making a come back here. Oh great. We had a decent run of no such cuts for a few months now, except for the occasional fault. Even power cable thefts have not been going on since May or June, it's very strange 😂 so if "load-shedding" is returning then the fun run is over and it's business as usual, oh great again. The good news this time is that I won't have to worry about not being able to work when there's no power, thanks to the new computer which still has an okay battery.
Tuning for Toons Channel 12 is finally out, almost a year since Season 2 began. That shouldn't have happened but given what has been going on from last year to now, hopefully you can understand why. Sorry for the super long wait.
In the works...
I have finally reached the Orange Islands, where the final update of the game ended 7 years ago this month. Took a while because I hadn't realised how messy the walkthrough was, so a lot of cleaning up has had to be done plus adding in new information thanks to a couple of handy editor programs (for maps and Trainers). There was no documentation provided with the game, even during the years after the final update, which is why my original walkthrough for it was so lousy (when compared to the walkthroughs that I make now). A lot of rom hacks have no documentation, especially older ones, and so I've had to start making use of editor programs to help me. I hope to finish this new walkthrough before the end of the month (fingers crossed).
The MultiMangaverse 13 One Piece Vol. 6
The initial notes are just two chapters away from being done then I polish up in preparation for recording next Sunday. It'll be a great episode, not just because of this eventful volume, so stay tuned for that.
Chapter 9 is almost done, it should be out later this week or early next week. At some point I want to take a short break so I can update my information (most of it is still under Generation 8).
