Checking In (Sunday 27 September 2026)

It's the final weekend of the month and I decided it might be a good time to rest up and recharge before October starts. This could be how I wind things down near the end of a month going forward to avoid burnout.

This week though, I'll be active just to release Episode 22 and the Metroidvania-themed Episode 21.5 of Gaming History Ext. while behind the scenes I prepare for the new month. The DJ sets should be back next weekend alongside Weekend Bonus Stage. There was no WBS in September, which became busier as the month progressed and I hope to make up for that.

Checking In (Friday 6 September 2024)

Hello hello, how's it going? I have some good news to share with you, something which I hope will be a nice way to end the week. Behold... It took a while but here we are with the internet upgrade that I had been hoping for. That's the router in the photo above, sitting on one of our old TVs in the dining room. Bought from one of the local mobile networks for $200 USD and monthly we'll be paying $45 for a 5mbps semi-unlimited data package (the actual data cap 1TB but nobody here will be live-streaming or online all day everyday so I doubt we'll reach that cap...unless of course someone decides to save all their super downloading for the days just before the subscription ends. Hmm...).
