- In Pokémon Team Rocket Edition, we are back at the home base on Five Island for a well-deserved "work" vacation as our post-game chronicles begin...NOW.
If it looked like I was a bit all over the place it's because I was, haha. It's been a LONG time since I played the original Pokémon FireRed and ventured through the Sevii Islands, so when Archer tells me to check out Quest Island I had to look that up! It's bad enough that there isn't even an official walkthrough for Team Rocket Edition among the bare-bones documents that have been made for the game, meaning that I'll have to create a separate save file in which I'll play ahead and make some notes for the main save file which gets recorded. Interestingly enough, several months ago I got in touch with a member of the game's Discord crew to offer my walkthrough writing services and I was tasked with writing a very brief one for them as a "test", with some help from the game's documentation. If ROM editors could read the game file and gather information which I could use to suppliment the documentation, I'd have agreed to write a full walkthrough. But the game has been so heavily modified that none of the editors can read it.

- In Pokémon Adventure Red Chapter, the episode covers Chapter 27 (Yellow Gift), Bonus Chapter 25 (Hospitality) and Chapter 28 (Team Rocket). HM Rock Smash was acquired too and we went on a brief backtrack run with it.
If there's one thing that I still don't like about the game, it's the Bonus Chapters. Many of them are just filler, horror-themed side stories (like the one covered in this episode and in Episode 19) that don't fit with the the overall point of the game - an adaptation of the manga. Granted, the adaptation isn't completely faithful and there's A LOT of creative liberties that are taken with the source material (just judging from the writing of some of the characters, the pop culture cameos and references, and the Bonus Chapters), but I think it would've been better if the majority of the source materials for the Bonus Chapters had been from the anime's filler episodes. Then for other chapters you could've be a little creative and come with stuff which can be a bridge between the main chapters. Other chapters could've been based on other Pokémon games too or at least be a small nod to them.
Speaking of Episode 19, there was a point during the Unknown Dungeon chapter where I spotted Heatran in one of the Cerulean Caves. The reason I did not go over and battle it is because Heatran is WAY above Level 100 there.
Groudon and Kyogre will flash for a very brief moment before the battle against Rayquaza starts and it is also over Level 100. I have avoided this spot because all three of these Legendary Pokémon can be obtained properly during the post-game but people should at least be aware about that area now.
